…FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1115 AM EST/1015 AM CST/ THIS MORNING…

* WHAT…Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…Portions of south central Indiana and NORTH CENTRAL Kentucky, including the following counties, in south central Indiana, Clark, Floyd, Harrison, Jefferson, Scott and Washington. In NORTH CENTRAL Kentucky, Breckinridge, Henry, Jefferson, Meade, Oldham, Shelby and Trimble.

* WHEN…Until 1115 AM EST /1015 AM CST/.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 815 AM EST /715 AM CST/, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause small stream
flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. – Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Louisville, Jeffersonville, New Albany, Jeffersontown, St. Matthews, Shively, Lyndon, La Grange, Middletown and Douglass Hills.
